We have our cancellation policy in place to be fair to those who are waiting to get into classes that are full. So please think about it before you hit that cancel button.  

You have 24 hours prior to a class to cancel but if you cancel after that 24 hour window or just decided not so show up and you are a "class pass" holder we will take one of your classes from your class pass.  If you are a "monthly member" with us  you will be charged the drop-in rate of $12.00.

Please understand that we don't want to do this but it's the only way to be fair to those waiting.

TRX® Suspension Training & Strength Classes

What is TRX® Suspension Training?

Born in the U.S. Navy SEALs and developed by Fitness Anywhere®, Suspension Training® is a revolutionary method of leveraged bodyweight exercise.  Safely perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose. 

With 13 TRX® Suspension Trainers you are bound to have a FUN time in our TRX® Group Suspension Classes.

TRX® TEAM 

TRX® TEAM program is a team sports inspired multi-week program for athletes of all fitness levels who want real results in a fun, challenging and dynamic setting.  Think of the TRX® Fit with added challenges.

TRX® Fit /HIIT

Looking for a perfect blend of strength and cardio?  TRX® Fit/HIIT addresses the foundations of improving your cardio, building muscular endurance, and promoting weight loss. This TRX experience will lead you down the road to your best all around fitness.

TRX® Strong 

You might be strong, but are you TRX® Strong?  This class will push you to new levels of strength using the TRX Suspension Trainer and your own body weight. Be ready to "feel the burn" as you power through multiple sets of high tension loads in this time workout that features intermediate to advanced strength exercises.

TRX® Sticks and Straps

We're taking TRX® to the next level with this class.  You'll work with the TRX® Suspension Trainer and the TRX® RIP trainer in this class.  Two amazing tools we're excited to bring to you!  TRX® Rip Trainer is an essential tool for anyone looking to strengthen their core, improve rotational power and increase their cardiovascular endurance. The Rip Trainer employs an innovative resistance cord system to create a variable, unbalanced load that enables you to develop core strength, explosive rotational power, flexibility and endurance. It’s perfect for golf, baseball, hockey and lacrosse.

KettleBell 

Kettle bell training will help kick all your fitness goals into high gear! Compound exercises work multiple muscle groups simultaneously, developing strength and muscular endurance and efficient caloric expenditure.

Bootcamp

Diverse gear! New challenges! More movement! These are just some of the things you will experience in TRX Bootcamp! This class features multiple training tools and High Intensity Intervals built on strong focused movements, guaranteed to be insanely fun but leave you in an “out of breath, sweaty, muscle quivering heap”  Which is (let’s be honest) exactly what you came for!

Rip Training

TRX® Rip Trainer is an essential tool for anyone looking to strengthen their core, improve rotational power and increase their cardiovascular endurance. Fusion Classes   (50 mins)

Can't decide whether to focus on strength or cardio? Why not both! We're excited to bring our new Fusion Classes to you!

SPIN® & STRENGTH:  Challenge yourself with this fusion between SPIN® and strength training.  30 minutes on the bike and 20 minutes of strength training, using TRX®, Kettlebells and dumbbells will help to complete this well-rounded workout. 

SPIN® & CORE:  Spin your way to a strong core with this fusion between SPIN® and core.  30 minutes of SPIN® followed by 20 minutes of core focused exercises will give you the perfect challenge!

SPIN® & STRETCH:  Speed it up and slow it back down with this fusion between SPIN® and stretching.  30 minutes of SPIN® followed 20 minutes of deep stretching will leave you refueled and refreshed!

With 23 Spinner® NXT bikes we're the largest Spinning® studio in the area!   It's time to experience the fun and excitement of the Spinning® program. Our goal is to provide riders with a bike that's always the right fit and a comprehensive program designed to help individuals accomplish their health and fitness goals.  We're dedicated to making sure every Spinning® enthusiast gets the most out of every ride. The Spinning® program is easy to learn, motivating and a great way to get in shape and stay in shape. From professional athletes to individuals simply looking for a program to lose a few pounds, regardless of age, weight, or skill level, it’s easy to get started with one of the world's leading exercise programs.  All of our bikes have baskets and SPD clips for bike shoes.  Please bring CLEAN shoes to change into.

Movement, Mobility & Strength

Movement, Mobility & Strength  (this class is not currently on the schedule) 

A progressive program designed to increase your quality of movement, mobility and strength with measurable improvement.  Improve posture, spinal health, wrist strength, hip and shoulder mobility, and overall quality of organic movement; the way the body was designed to move.

Quality of movement 

Comes from the ability to move in any direction. To think outside the box, or to not think at all, just move. We all want to be healthy and fit, but the same repetitive movements restrict our potential, and can cause injury, leaving us unable to move at all, or unable to move how we’d like to. A lot of our pain and injury comes from disuse or misuse, or expecting our major muscles (and joints) to perform well without the support of the minor ones.

The ability to move without restriction or pain

Some restrictions we can’t control, but many we can. Some we place on ourselves, either by saying “I can’t” do it, or “I’m uncomfortable” trying something different and unfamiliar. We all do it. We stick with what we know, what’s familiar and comfortable. I love to cycle, but if that was all I did, that specific movement chain would eventually break down. And what if I slipped on the ice? Would I have the ability to react to that organic type of movement. And why should movement always be serious and driven, why not be playful and fun?!

Our bodies move by joint articulation and the muscles that support them, so why aren’t we paying attention to their health, their strength and mobility?

Movement, Mobility and Strength provides a canvas to work on that organic movement. To move as effortlessly as we did as kids. How are the elderly in other cultures able to sit in a squat? “How do their knees do it?!” “How do their hips do it?!” Because they never stopped doing it. Move it or lose it? In some ways, yes, but you can get it back.

Program covers four areas:
1. Upper body strength 2. Lower Body Strength, 3. Spinal mobility 4. Locomotion

Loosen Up & Let It Go 

Loosen up and Let It Go

Join Dr. Scott Gill in this 6 week course which combines the basics of yin yoga, the fundamentals of meditation and total body relaxation techniques that are all designed to work together to help you: become more flexible, concentrate better, relax deeply, replenish energy levels, balance mind and emotions, counter stress, cultivate inner peace and build the foundation to establish your own regular yoga and meditation practice.

 

About this course    

 

Would you like to be stress-free and serene? On this beginners-level yoga and meditation course where you will learn and experience the calming and stress-relieving practices of yoga - each session includes an extended relaxation session to ensure you deeply unwind from the stresses of life! This course is suitable for:.

  • anyone who needs to rest deeply, and for those wanting to properly understand the fundamental and underlying principles of yoga

What to expect

  • Please arrive on time. The class is for one hour and includes an introductory talk, yoga breathing practices, guided meditation and guided relaxation.

  • Most of the class is seated on the floor or we can provide chairs if that is uncomfortable or mobility is an issue. Some of the practices are done lying down on mats on the floor.

 

What to wear and bring

  • Bring a yoga mat, and cushion/stool.

  • Chairs available if needed.

  • We don't wear shoes so please leave shoes in the lobby.

  • We'll be moving, stretching, sitting and lying down so wear comfortable clothes you can exercise in.

  • Bring your own non-breakable drinking water bottle.

  • Please be courteous of others and leave cell phones in the car or on silent mode

High Vibe Hatha Flow & "Happier Hour" Vinyasa Flow

High Vibe Hatha Flow

JB's high intensity hatha yoga flow, set to fun hip hop jams and dance beats! Dig deep, break a sweat, and find high vibe prana to carry you through the weekend, both on and off the mat. JB believes deeply that the hardest work we must do in this life is to "be here now" (in the words of yogi Ram Dass), sometimes it takes a little Biggie and Tupac to stay focused...! Her classes are meant to hold space for you to leave the outside world outside, just long enough to let yourself dive inside to seek balance, contentment and spacious peace. 

"Happier Hour" Vinyasa Flow

 

Join us for a "happier" hour after work on Thursday to energize, center, and rejuvenate yourself before the weekend! Join JB to bend it out, flowing to rhythmic, uplifting kirtan beats from DJ Drez, MC Yogi, and other mantra masters. All experience levels are welcome, as always; be sure to bring your own mat. Get ready to zen out!

Don't worry: this isn't a dance class, but a core-focused yoga class meant to shake off the past week and open your energy for the week to come. Experienced and new yogis alike are welcome!
